WHAT IS LEED?

"LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is transforming the way we think about how our buildings and communities are designed, constructed, maintained and operated across the globe. Comprehensive and flexible, LEED is a green building tool that addresses the entire building lifecycle recognizing best-in-class building strategies." quoted from USGBC website.
JEG offers our customers full LEED documentation appropriate for MR credits 7.1 and 7.2 recycling credits.  We can provide material specific containers for metal, cardboard, wood, etc or containers can be comingled, for locations with limited spaces.  These materials are transported off site to a New Jersey DEP permitted Material Recovery Facility(MRF).  At these facilities debris is sorted and separated for recyclable materials.   These materials are loaded on to rail cars, the most environmentally friendly means of transporting waste and are reused, repurposed or salvaged.
